5G Mast at Grange Loan

Consultation for this has passed but there has been resistance to any installation of the 5G mast.

In the last ten months four planning applications have failed in Whitehouse Loan and one on Mayfield church. The proposed construction, Grange Loan/Blackford Avenue Junction, has also generated a large volume of objections, largely centred around its placing within the Grange Conservation area. Concerns have been raised also, as to the low number of residents notified of the planned application - properties in Grange Loan, West Grange Gardens and Blackford Avenue – as well as the number of 5G masts needed to achieve the required coverage in comparison to 4G.
