Braid Road re-opens to two-way traffic at last

Work to re-open the one-way section of Braid Road to two-way traffic should start on Monday 21^st November.

I’m told it may take four weeks until Friday 23^rd December to make all the adjustments. There will be a modal filter just to the north of the former roundabout to force vehicles from the south to turn right into Hermitage Drive. Braid Road is expected to remain open to south-bound traffic throughout these works. Temporary lights will be installed for a pedestrian crossing.
