Road repairs - Lib Dem proposals at the Council budget

Talking to many of you recently, the number one concern on the doorstep has been the lack of action on road and pavement repairs.

In recognition of this our colleagues on the council proposed an additional £9 million for the roads budget to try and fix our crumbling infrastructure. This was twice what any other party proposed.

Our budget also proposed to reverse the SNP's cut to our school budgets, end the bulky uplift charge and invest in our parks and flood prevention. However, this was voted down by the SNP-Labour administration.
