Lib Dem candidates Alan Beal and Euan Davidson are deeply frustrated by the decision taken by the SNP-Labour administration to delay the decision on introducing parking controls in many streets across Corstorphine and Murrayfield.
Alan commented: "Residents were clear when the council consulted on these proposals that they did not fit the needs of our communities. It's time for a change in approach."
Euan Davidson said, "The response to the consultation proposals from local people was overwhelmingly against proceeding with blanket restrictions. We are calling for a much more tailored approach which properly takes the communities views on board."
Alan and Euan have launched a petition calling for the blanket proposals to be halted completely, which you can sign here.
