Cluny Centre Change of Use Appeal

The change of use application for the Cluny Centre, which was listed to be considered by the Council’s Development Management Sub Committee on Wednesday 20 June, was withdrawn from the agenda at the last minute and was therefore not considered.  The application for listed building consent was granted.  

The applicant has appealed to the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA) and this has now been formally lodged and listed.  This is the reason given for the withdrawal of the application from the Council’s DM Sub Committee agenda.  Details of the applicant’s submission to the DPEA can be found on the DPEA website www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk under reference PPA-230-2232

Plans for the former Bank of Scotland at Holy Corner

Another set of plans has been submitted by Signature Pubs Ltd. for a change of use from commercial (former bank) to a pub/restaurant that can cater for around 240 customers, with outside eating space to the front.  It also involves the removal of six trees to the rear of the building to allow the erection of a two storey extension.  Do take a look at the plans and see for yourself.
