I am pleased to report that the proposal to improve the crossing on Pentland Terrace near Riselaw Crescent and Comiston Springs Avenue has now been added to the Council’s priority list and approved by the Council’s Transport & Environment Committee.

New South Edinburgh Primary School delay

The Council’s original target for opening the new South Edinburgh Primary School in Canaan Lane in Morningside was August 2020.  I am disappointed to note that this has been pushed back to August 2021.

I chaired a packed meeting this evening in Morningside Parish Church to launch the Friends of Midmar Paddock, a new group set up with the aim of protecting the paddock and securing future access to Blackford Hill and the Hermitage for the community.

Decision on Former Boroughmuir High School

Sick Kids Hospital development disappoints
