Local Lib Dem candidates Alan Beal and Euan Davidson are calling for the Council administration to focus on getting the basics right on roads in Corstorphine/Murrayfield.
Euan said, "When we speak to residents, nearly everyone tells us that our roads are just not getting looked after or maintained properly. Earlier this year, Lib Dem councillors tried to secure an extra £10 million to tackle this problem across the city, but the SNP and Labour councillors blocked rejected our plan.
Alan said, "It is very unfortunate that the SNP/Labour Administration are not interested in these things right and actually investing in our City. These are the basics for residents and really should be a priority for the Council. We will continue trying to get roads fixed, but more attention is needed from the administration to getting the basics right."
