Fairness for Families with Lothian

Sign our petition calling for Lothian Buses to allow contactless payments for all ticket types, including family and individual child tickets

Lothian Buses has introduced contactless card payments on all its services. However, the new payment method is only available for people to buy their own tickets.

It is not possible for parents to buy family tickets or tickets for their children.

This contrasts with bus services in other cities like Glasgow and Cardiff where contactless payments are allowed on all tickets, including family tickets. The restriction comes on the back of recent criticism of Lothian Buses for limiting spaces for buggies and prams on its new larger buses.

Back our campaign to call on Lothian Buses to provide fairness for families and extend their contactless payment system to cover child and family tickets.
