During the Easter holidays a new pedestrian crossing was installed on East Fettes Avenue, connecting Broughton High School to Inverleith Park.
Hal Osler said: “Before I was elected in 2017 I was made aware by residents and parents of students at Broughton High School that a pedestrian crossing had been agreed for this area but not brought forward. I said at the time I would do all that I could to bring this to fruition.
"Eight years after the Council’s initial commitment, finally the crossing is in place. I would like to thank all the residents, the school and the Broughton High School Parent Council for all their hard work and patience, it was a long road but we got there in the end.”
