Last Wednesday the Council’s Development Management Sub Committee granted the application for 87 mezzanine flats, within the main former school building, and 17 affordable flats in a new block.
There will be 98 parking spaces onsite, only six flats will be able to apply for on street residents’ parking permits and there will be 8 new on street parking spaces, including two for the city car club. I understand that the developer is in final discussions with an electrical vehicle charging provider that is seeking to deliver a supply to 100% of the parking bays on site.
