The SNP/Labour City Council Administration have been working for years on a communal bin review with the idea of changing the present system which we can all agree has many problems.
What is being proposed is a new system of “bin hubs” which will see smaller units - but possibly more of them which would be emptied more frequently.
Hal Osler said, “I know there are many concerns regarding this as residents are worried about how it would be possible to empty numerous smaller units more often when the present system of larger bins being emptied less frequently is failing. If you have questions on this, a series of drop-in consultations have been organised. Please look below for a list of place, times and dates below together with a copy of the report detailing what is proposed.”
