Cluny Centre Change of Use applications

The change of use applications for the Cluny Centre are listed to be considered by the Council’s Development Management Sub Committee next Wednesday, 20th of June.

I am pleased to note that the application for change of use has been recommended for refusal on the grounds of noise and the negative impacts on parking and the amenity of neighbouring residents.  The application for listed building consent for minor alterations has been recommended for acceptance.  You can access the papers here

The meeting next Wednesday starts at 9.00am and the live webcast will be available to view on the Council’s website.  The meeting is open to the public but there will not be an opportunity for any member of the public to speak.

In a further development, and perhaps in anticipation of a refusal, the applicant has already submitted an appeal to the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA) under reference PPA-230-2232, which can be found here
