The Edinburgh City Plan, covering land usage and development until 2030, has been published.
The principles are for climate sustainability, increased housing and the use of brown field sites with mixed private and public works.
Corstorphine/Murrayfield is largely neglected for fresh development, although there is some zoning for 152 new housing units opposite Roseburn Primary School (H5), to the West of Edinburgh Zoo (HSG7) and developments on Old Kirk Road, St Johns Road and Corstorphine Road. ( H66 to 70)
As part of the plan allotments will be created at Clerwood on Corstorphine Hill, while Roseburn & Balgreen public park play facilities will be upgraded.
